 Worship Services

There will be no worship services at Calvary during UW-Madison's spring break March 31-April 8.  You are invited to attend Mount Olive Lutheran Church 110 N Whitney Way for Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday. Follow this link for information on Mount Olives worship services www.mountolive-lutheran.org/

Worship services are at 11:45am

Our sanctuary is located on the top floor. Just follow the stairs up and you will be in the worship area.  After worship most Sundays we also provide a free lunch for everyone who attends worship.  We have a blended worship style and most people who attend dress casual.  We also have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and baked goods before worship most Sundays. So come early, have a bite to eat and meet some of the other attenders.

If an earlier service time works better for you schedule we invite you to worship at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church (110 N. Whitney Way).  Their worship times are 8:00am and 10:30am.  Visit their website for more information  www.mountolive-lutheran.org/

Open Chapel - 2nd Monday of the month - 7:00pm

The second Monday of the month (except April when it will be on the fourth Monday) at 7:00pm.  Open Chapel is a relaxed service with low lights, candles and accousitcal music. The basic service structure is readings from Psalms, prayers and then singing. It is a great way to end your day while focusing on God and His word.

 International Friendship Center

Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (plus some evening classes)

The International Friendship Center (IFC) is an outreach of Calvary Lutheran Chapel and has been intentionally reaching out to internationals on the UW campus since the early 1980's. From its beginning of Bible studies and shared meals, the ministry has grown into a formal gathering place known as the International Friendship Center. The IFC has become a kind of "home away from home" for many internationals studying and living in Madison. As our name implies, the ministry of the International Friendship Center is very much a ministry of friendship.

If you are an international student or family member, stop by anytime for conversational English discussion groups, Bible studies, and classes. If you'd like to volunteer at the IFC, stop by and talk with Judy Tang.

A current schedule of classes can be found on the IFC's web page  www.ifcmadison.org
